Robin Muir

Robin began his career in finance in 1982. In 2001, Robin and Wayne Hatch took the leap from corporate life to start their own independent firm—Hatch & Muir. They were united by a vision to build a firm that put clients first and offered objective, client‑focused advice without influence from sales targets or product mandates.

 

That commitment to operating with integrity and delivering client‑centred service continues to guide our business. Over the years, our entire team has shared in this mission. Dave, Tammy, Whitney, Geoff, and Ken have all been carefully chosen and mentored to carry on this legacy, which has been part of the DNA of Hatch Muir Financial Group of CI Assante Wealth Management Ltd. since its founding in 2001.

Robin retired on January 1, 2025, and now keeps busy with golf, traveling with his wife Julie, and spending time with family.
