About Dave
Dave brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping families achieve financial clarity and confidence. Born and raised in Victoria, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria before spending fourteen years in leadership roles with Callaway Golf Canada, including as Director of Operations in Toronto.
In 2008, Dave returned to Victoria to raise his family and reconnect with the community he loves. He entered the financial services industry in 2011, learning the business from the ground up with a local team. In 2016, he joined Hatch Muir Financial Group of CI Assante Wealth Management Ltd. as a Certified Financial Planner™, stepping into the role previously held by retired partner Wayne Hatch.
With nine years at Hatch Muir, Dave is known for his thoughtful, client-first approach. He’s passionate about guiding families through every stage of their financial journey—from building wealth to planning for retirement—and finds the greatest satisfaction in helping clients reach their goals.
Outside the office, Dave is a proud father of four daughters. He’s a lifetime member of the Victoria Motorcycle Club and a former competitive rider in the sport of observed trials. On weekends, you might find him at a local motorcycle event or enjoying a round of golf—always balancing work with family and fun.
